May 14-18, 2003 ,,,,,,,,,,,Charlotte, NC
We stayed at the absolutely lovely, just-opened Westin-Charlotte hotel,
located in downtown Charlotte, across from the Charlotte Conference
Center and within walking distance to much of downtown Charlotte.
The
rooms inside were as striking as the architecture outside. The staff
were mostly young impeccably dressed young people from all nationalities.
Their service was the old-fashioned "the customer is always right"
philosophy. Speaking for Tex Knowles and myself, we had a wonderful
stay there.
