504th Bomb Group Reunion

The 504th BG reunion will be held in Dallas, TX from September 14-18, 2001. Please call the Dallas Embassyy Suites Hotel near the Galleria ASAP for reservations. (See number above). The price will be $99 per night, plus tax. Deadline for this rate is August 15, 2011. The hotel does NOT shuttle from the airport. The closest airport is Dallas Love Field.
Schedule:
September 14 3 PM check in. Hospitality Room will be open from 5:30-7:30 PM. reception will be held at 6:00 PM in the hotel atrium Charge for reception $20 per person.
September 15 6:00-9:00 AM Hot buffet breakfast. We will board the bus at 9:00 AM for a tour of Dallas highlights with lunch. Lunch will be at 12:00 and we will return to hotel at 1:00 PM. There will be another reception from 5:30-7:30 PM in hotel atrium.
September 16 504th Tours From 6:00-9:00 AM there will be a hot buffet breakfast. There will be FIFI tours and hopefully flights and the Addison Museum Tour. We will break for lunch and have a reception in the hotel atrium from 5:30-7:30.
September 17 7:00-10:30 AM hot buffet breakfast. Business Meeting will be held at 10:00 AM in the Hospitality Room. From 5:00PM - 6:30 PM there will be a Memorial Service in the Remington Board Room. There will be a dinner banquet at 7:00 PM in the Remington Board Room - cost is $45 per person.
September 18th - Departure Day. 7:00Am - 10:30 AM hot buffet breakfast

315th Bomb Wing's 29th Annual Reunion

Friday - September 23 - Sentimental Journal big band show, dance adn dinner at the National WWII Museum.
Saturday - September 24 - 315th BW Memorial service followed by free time to visit the National WWII Museum (FREE admission for WwII veterans)or a tour of New Orleans at your own pace. At 6 PM we meet for cocktails; 7 PM our annual 315th BW banquet. Speaker will be Penny Dempsey Yazzie, the daughter of SSgt Harvey J. Dempsey (502 nd BG) a member of the Dillingham crew which was shot down at noght over Kawasaki, Japan on 25 July 1945. Penny will detail her search to determine the details of the tragic event and her work with the American War Orphans Network.
Sunday - September 25 - River cruise and jazz lunch. Afternoon is free for sightseeing or meeting up with friends.
